at least one extra lane in each direction from Melbourne Airport to the West Gate Freeway, including extra lanes on the Bolte Bridge
a new lane on the West Gate Freeway between Bolte Bridge and Power St
improvements to the Flemington Road/Mt Alexander Road interchange
new connections and dedicated lanes

a reduction in commercial vehicles using local roads, as 3,000 more commercial vehicles will be able to access the freeway
