PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • a 22 klm network of tollways linking three major freeways

  • providing a continuous high capacity route to and around the CBD

  • Western Link includes a long elevated extension to the widened Tullamarine Freeway and the Bolte Bridge over the Yarra River

  • Southern Link connects the West Gate and Monash Freeways via two tunnels

  • uses a free flow electronic toll system, the first of it's kind in Australia
